Solar living pioneer and our good friend and fresh air promoter, John Avenson, was recently interviewed on Colorado Public Radio (CPR) along with Denis Hayes, founder of Earth Day and the first Director of the Solar Energy Research Institute (now, NREL, National Renewable Energy Laboratory).
John lives in a Passive Solar house he built in 1981. In recent years, John renovated his home to Passive House levels, added CERV smart ventilation, and solar PV. John’s YouTube channel has videos on his home, smart ventilation and the art of making popcorn (he’s an expert in that, too!).
