Politicians may be announcing re-opening of this or that, but are those venues safe? Successful re-opening of indoor public gathering spaces requires more than hollow pronouncements. Schools, restaurants, offices, and other public gathering spaces should formulate re-opening plans that gain confidence and trust from its stakeholders as shown in the diagram for school re-openings.

School Re-opening Webinars:
Build Equinox is a participant with Illinois SEDAC (Smart Energy Design Assistance Center at the University of Illinois) two-webinar program series on school re-openings. The first SEDAC webinar discusses prioritization of steps for re-opening our schools. The second SEDAC webinar discusses implementation of school re-opening plans. Ty will be a presenter in the second webinar, with an introduction of the Covid Safe Space calculator applied to school and classroom situations.
SEDAC school re-opening webinars are free and open to all. Illinois school districts can participate in two workshop opportunities (contact SEDAC above) that provide school personnel with direct interaction discussion forums.
