SIPs are in!!! Well, 2/3rds of the panels anyway.
One truck will arrive tomorrow with the last of the panels. They are all shrink wrapped to protect against the weather. Sometime next week the panel installation should begin.

The plumbers were back again today to continue work on the drain lines. The sewer line was inspected and approved, so they backfilled the sewer pipe. Inside the house, they began to trench and run the drain lines. They expect to finish this on Monday and have it inspected so that the slab can be poured.

More solar! Finished installing the panels and mounted the inverters. Tomorrow the wiring will begin.
Until the breaker panel is installed and connected to the utility, we will not be able to switch on the solar system to produce power. Hopefully this will occur shortly after erecting the SIP house panels, so that the solar energy produced while the house is unoccupied will displace the energy consumed to construct the house.
