David earned degrees in civil engineering technology and architecture and has taught and practiced architecture 25 years before founding Solera Studios. He is a American Institute of Architects professional and earned status as a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Passive House Consultant and is Permaculture Design Certified ; he is also a member of the Passive House Alliance and has been a member of the American Solar Energy Society & the the Fellowship of Intentional Communities.”
